Troops deployed in operation IDON RAINI while on clearance patrol along Maganda.
The Nigerian Army declared that its troops on Saturday, June 9, killed several bandits and recovered 36 motorcycles from the bandits in Birnin Gwari axis of Kaduna state. Daily Trust reports that the troops during an operation rescued three men, two women and three children. The director of army public relations Brig. Gen. Texas Chukwu who made this known in a statement said the troops also recovered five handsets and N9,135 only from the bandits.
