A Nigerian Twitter user identified as Andrew Solomon has lamented the excesses of the officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and the brutality Nigerians face at the hands of the officials. This officer boasted to us that his name is John and that he is in charge of Auchi Agenebode road. He said even the IG can not discipline him should he kill us along that bush part. This man is a time bomb waiting to happen. #EndSARS #EndSarsAtrocities #ReformPoliceNG @segalink pic.twitter.com/LwR7iYh9c2— Andrew Solomon E (@andrewoboite) June 12, 2018
Peterfabiantv Blog notes that Solomon took to Twitter to express his frustration and to report a SARS official simply identified as John, who Solomon said has boasted that he could kill anyone without being punished by the inspector general of police, Ibrahim Idris.
However, Peterfabiantv Blog could not immediately confirm the veracity of this claim as at the time of filing this report. But Nigerians are campaigning against the atrocities of SARS and are coming forward with their experience with the dreaded police unit. The brag by John elicited angry reactions from Twitter users, with some calling for mass protest against SARS brutality.

Considering the fact that we have elections in 2019 and we already feel intimidated by people who are meant to secure us, We need to act NOW!!! The people are the government #AriseNigeria #timetoact #AriseNewheroes— PAPIANO (@Teepapiano) June 13, 2018

This thing about mass protest is that not everyone crying for change will come out, some will do the protest on their phone while others will match out to protest against the Govt.
I see our leaders reply to everything on social media but have decided to keep mute on this #EndSARS matter... is it that they don’t see it or it’s not an important issue for them cos 2019 is around the corner?— Fvrrell Adomokai (@FvrrellAdomokai) June 14, 2018

By the time youths start handling guns and other forms of weapons just to protect themselves from SARS, then this country becomes a living hell. I hope the government will be awoken from their slumber. #EndSARS— L. A. M. D. E. E. 😎 (@TheNewSavage) June 13, 2018
Sadly enough, he's saying the truth. He takes orders from no one, he eats human meat and brushes his teeth with gun powder. He's officer Odunga!— Rasta Gbaku (@stevandason) June 14, 2018
Power intoxicates more than liquor— Benson Cj (@benceejaythink) June 13, 2018
These guys are intoxicated with the guns power to end life, they weren't balanced with the brain power to save lives
Who gave this kind of power to SARS? I am still wondering? Because they act with so much guts. Even army that fights Boko Haram does not assault people the way this devils that calls them self SARS do. #EndSarsNow— OLUWATOSIN . (@mr_sexious) June 14, 2018
